We received our Samsunf Focus this morning, Here is our unboxing
We are very impressed with this phone, the screen is amazing and it fits in the hand nice, although it feels small after using the HTC HD7 for a couple weeks now.

Here’s a quick review of our HTC HT7, this time with the power on..Sorry if it’s not the best, but trying to get familiar with the Windows Phone 7 OS myself..
Please let me know if there is anything in particular that you’d like to see and I’ll do my best to cover it.
The Android scene on the HD2 seems to be moving faster than expected, and XDA member jmztaylor managed to create a great new dual boot software to assist your Android needs. The software is made so just after the splash screen and right before the phone fully boots, it loads and gives you the option to either load Android or Windows Mobile. To boot Android you are required to have all the files on the root of your SD card.
So this is a dual-boot app I wrote for the HD2. This just gives you an option during boot to choose Windows Mobile or Android. You must have android already installed to the root of your sd card. If you are using the latest android release be sure to rename zharet to haret and the default.txt file to startup.txt and you will not have to tap run in haret anymore.
Updated to v2. Now automatically launches CLRCAD.exe.
If it doesn’t launch:
Open a registry editor and go to HKLM\init and change Launch52 to Launch62. And reboot
team HTC Linux has recently made a breakthrough with getting the touchscreen to talk to the HaRET Linux bootloader. In other words, us mere mortals can finally use Linux variants like Android and Ubuntu on the HD2 the way it’s meant to be, although we’re apparently still a few bugs away from a stable release. Until then, enjoy the techno-fueled video demo.
Here are the download links
Android
Global instructions: Just extract to Storage Card root directory and run HaRET executable.
Needs Storage Card with at least 2GB free space. Recommended is a fast Storage Card (Class 4 is ok)
This is intended to be used as a netbook/desktop type setup with keyboard and mouse connected via USB. Check this site for information on how to do this.
Be sure to read included README.txt for install instructions, features and developer information.
Quick instructions: Put the ubuntu directory into the main/root directory of your Storage Card and tap HaRET executable.
password: ubuntu
use shutdown button to stop the system cleanly
This has got to be one of the best apps I have found for the HTC HD2 phone. Many thanks go out to CoOkieMonster for his great work on this app, and tojohncmolyneux for his Cookies Home Tab Editor.

A new ROM upgrade has just become available for the T-Mobile HD2. Download it here now! The download upgrades the device ROM version from 2.10.531.1 to 2.13.531.1. We’re not entirely sure about what exactly the fixes or changes are just yet however.
